HarveyCEO initiated a partnership between an accomplished executive with 35+ years of experience in the industrial gas industry, and an East Coast-based private equity firm to pursue industrial gas distribution platforms. The executive previously served as President of Praxair Distribution where he led the $2 billion packaged gas distribution business.

The partnership resulted in the simultaneous acquisitions of Willingham Welding Solutions, Inc. (d/b/a Gas Innovations) and Atlas Welding Supply Co. to form Meritus Gas Partners. Gas Innovations and Atlas are leading independent distributors of industrial gases.

The executive now serves as Executive Chairman of Meritus Gas Partners and is spearheading a strategy to acquire and partner with other high-quality independent distributors of industrial, medical, and specialty gases to continue to build a best-in-class platform within the space.
