Harvey & Company initiated and invested in the buyout of Pro-Tech Industries in partnership with a Southeast-based private equity group. Based in Vancouver, Washington, Pro-Tech has established itself as a leading manufacturer of aftermarket truck accessories, such as cab racks, toolboxes, fenders, and storage boxes, for the heavy- and light-truck markets. Pro-Tech operates out of two 75,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facilities, one in Vancouver and one in Nashville, Tennessee. Pro-Tech sells to truck dealers and distributors nationally.
The transaction was structured to provide liquidity to retiring owners that wished to exit from the business.
