Due Diligence Search
Increasingly, private equity firms retain Harvey & Company to conduct expedited acquisition search efforts as part of their due diligence process before they close on new investments.
These due diligence searches typically have two components. The first component is a market research exercise to assess both the number and fragmentation of potential add-ons; the second part is to evaluate actionability of those targets by conducting actual outreach.
Typically, these due diligence searches roll into a formal acquisition search engagement if the fund is successful in the platform acquisition.
