Founded in 1979, 4 State Trucks is a leading, specialty distributor of aftermarket parts for heavy-duty trucks, offering an extensive line of chrome, performance accessories, and collision repair parts.  The Company serves a national base of customers with a broad selection of high-quality parts and accessories for all makes and models of heavy duty trucks through its high-touch customer call center, industry leading e-commerce platform, and highly trafficked retail location in Joplin, Missouri just off Interstate 44 on the “four state” border of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Company management, led by third generation owners Brice and Bryan Martin, built the 4 State Truck business over the past 20 years before deciding to partner with equity capital providers to pursue accelerated growth.

Following extensive research into the competitive landscape within the heavy-duty aftermarket parts industry, Harvey & Company identified 4 State as the ideal platform upon which to build. Harvey & Company approached the ownership, who historically turned down investor inquiries, and presented a compelling growth-oriented thesis to the third generation owners. Given the founder’s desire to retain equity and maintain 4 State’s culture, management team, brand and reputation, as well as motivation to pursue acquisitions of their own, Harvey & Co. introduced management to an investment group dedicated to the growth of founder and family-owned businesses that closely aligned with with 4 State’s values and goals.

4 State Trucks remains under the guidance of current leadership, who remain actively invested in the business and will continue to oversee day-to-day operations.
