Dave Harvey founded Harvey & Company in 1998 and has been a leading buyside advisor to private equity funds, acquisitive corporations, and CEOs in transition since 1990. Dave was previously a partner of the predecessor firm to Harvey & Company, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Math Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dave enjoys fitness, golf and outdoor activities and is a native of Newport Beach, where he lives with his wife of 20+ years and three children.

Tim Block is a co-founder and partner of Harvey & Company and has been advising acquirers for more than 20 years. His prior experience includes corporate finance positions with Chemical Bank, Citicorp NA, Inc., and Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc. He earned his MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Magna cum laude) from the University of Connecticut. Tim is also a licensed CPA (inactive) in California. In his free time, Tim enjoys working out and hanging out with his wife and two teenage daughters.

Eric Hartley leads the firm's investment and advisory practices in Specialty Distribution and Consumer Products & Services. In his 25 years at Harvey & Company, he has been instrumental in many successful transactions within B2B and B2C distribution, pet and enthusiast products, specialty retail, packaging machinery and foodservice.  Eric also spends considerable time in healthcare services and physician practice management, focused on a variety of modalities including dental, vision, and physical therapy. Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Eric lives in Brentwood with his wife and twin boys. He enjoys live music, working on his golf game and following UNC athletics.

Brian Kaneko is a co-founder and partner of Harvey & Company and has more than twenty-five years of buyside acquisition experience. He leads the firm’s efforts within the broad commercial, industrial and residential facility services and specialty manufacturing sectors, having been a part of numerous successful transactions within HVAC, fire & life safety, contract cleaning, exterior maintenance, safety products and services, industrial rotating equipment repair and environmental services. Brian also spends considerable time in healthcare services and staffing focused on a variety of healthcare specialties, including internal medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, psychiatry, orthopedic and pain management.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Outside of the office, Brian is an avid sport fisherman and enjoys golf, the outdoors and most importantly spending time with his wife and four active boys.

Pete Bollman leads the HarveyCEO business which develops investment strategies in partnership with proven operating executives and private equity investors. Prior to joining Harvey & Company in 2006, he worked for Morgan Stanley in Los Angeles. Pete received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. He enjoys playing hockey and golf and resides in Redondo Beach with his wife and two children.

Jay Houlihan leads the firm’s investment and advisory practices in selected areas of technology including software, telecommunications and tech-enabled business services. Jay has worked with private companies for more than 25 years as an investor and advisor, and has served on 30 private company boards of directors. He was previously a Co-Founder and General Partner of InnoCal, a growth equity investment firm based in Costa Mesa, CA. Jay received a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College and an MBA in Finance from Boston University. He is an active skier and mountain biker and has remained a loyal Boston sports fan even from Newport Beach, where he lives with his wife, son and daughter.

Todd Leigh focuses on marketing and servicing the firm’s private equity clients. Todd has worked in financial services as a technology sector investment banker, investor and marketing executive for more than 20 years. He was previously a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and a Partner at a software company in the asset management industry, HOLT Value Associates, which sold to Credit Suisse in 2002. Todd also spent 10 years as a fund manager and capital raiser in the asset management industry as a Partner at Relational Investors and a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Todd received a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, earned his CPA while working for Price Waterhouse and is a CFA charterholder. He enjoys golf, skiing, and coaching youth sports in Newport Beach, where he lives with his wife of 25 years and three children.

Cliff Mulholland joined Harvey & Company in 2008 and leads the firm’s efforts in aerospace & defense, electronic components, medical products, agriculture, pharma services, death-care, and other niche categories. Cliff hails from Maryland, graduated from the University of Delaware, and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He enjoys fitness, hockey, and outdoor activities.

Jared Perrin has been with Harvey & Company since 2005 and leads the firm’s investment and advisory practices in food, packaging, building materials, and automotive aftermarket, plus other niche categories. He has initiated over 75 transactions including new platform investments in Oliver Winery (Branded Wine), Mesker Door (Building Products), 4 State Trucks (Truck Aftermarket), Penray (Automotive Chemicals), Juice It Up (Beverage Franchisor), and Liquid Technologies (Personal Care) among others. Jared initiated 14 add-on acquisitions for PlayCore, a client that retained Harvey & Company for over 10 years. Jared graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Southern California.

Collin Sullivan specializes in professional services, logistics & supply chain services, outsourced testing & inspection, and various niche manufacturing categories. Collin has been with Harvey & Company for over ten years and has supported repeat engagements with multiple clients throughout their respective holding periods. He has numerous completed additional transactions and experience in water & wastewater products, specialty materials and engineered product categories throughout his career. Collin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He enjoys playing ice hockey and exercising.

Dirk Jan-Vorgers, based in the Netherlands joined Harvey & Company as a Director in July 2018 and leads the firm's efforts in Europe. Dirk brings over 15 years of M&A experience and previously served as Managing Director of the M&A advisory division of EuroDev, where he initiated numerous European acquisitions for North American Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies. Dirk holds a Master degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Twente. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and hanging out with his wife and three children.

Zach Dutra specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities within the aerospace & defense, electronic/electrical, industrial technology, industrial automation, agriculture, niche manufacturing, and business services markets. Zach earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Chapman University and is currently a Board Member at Chapman’s Smith Institute for Political Economy and Philosophy. Brad Riegler joined Harvey & Company in 2020 as its Chief Financial Officer and oversees the Company’s accounting, finance, human resources, and administration functions. Brad began his career in public accounting working at Mayer Hoffman McCann and PwC in Orange County, California. He then worked in various financial reporting and corporate accounting positions at Kofax, Inc. and worked as a Controller at Avante Health Solutions, a private equity backed medical device company. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Minor in International Business from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Brad is also a licensed (inactive) CPA in California. Outside of the office, Brad enjoys anything outdoors, sports and spending time with his wife and three children.

Ken Cruickshank has been with Harvey & Company for over 9 years. His main industries of specialization are: Specialty and Value-Added Distribution, Commercial Foodservice, and Business Services. Prior to Harvey & Company, he worked as a Financial Advisor for Edward D. Jones. Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Oregon. He currently lives in San Juan Capistrano with his wife Zoe and daughter Charlotte.

Trevor Friedman specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities and proprietary deal flow in the packaging, cyber security, and transportation components industries. Trevor graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with degrees in Technology Management and Spanish.

Erich Garcia has been with Harvey & Company for the past 8 years and specializes in physician practice management, behavioral health, business services, and technology. Erich has closed transactions in dental, allergy, behavioral health, software, and business process outsourcing (BPO). Prior to Harvey & Company, he worked for a boutique M&A advisory firm and spent time in healthcare IT, enterprise software, and business services. Erich earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the California State University of Long Beach. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing basketball, cycling, and traveling to new cities.

Benjamin Loewenstein primarily focuses his time on specialty distribution, consumer products, business services, and automation machinery categories. Ben has worked at Harvey & Company for over 8 years. He has numerous completed additional transactions and experience in markets such as pet, outdoor enthusiast, route-based services, and commercial products distribution. Ben graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in History from the University of Southern California. Eric joined Harvey & Company in October 2014 and previously worked as an Analyst at a local investment bank. Peter Megorden joined Harvey & Company in February 2019 and helps lead the firm’s investment and advisory practices in both the Distribution and Foodservice sectors. Foodservice experience has branched across multiple business models including manufacturing, route-based services, and distribution. Soji Adimula joined Harvey & Company in 2022 as a Research Analyst, specializing in the packaging and automotive aftermarket industries. With a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Miami, Soji transitioned to mergers and acquisitions to continually challenge his intellect in dynamic environments. Drew Ryan joined Harvey & Company in 2022. Drew specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities within the consulting engineering services, outsourced testing & inspection and niche manufacturing categories. Drew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine with an emphasis in Finance.

Micah specializes in originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the technology enabled business services and home health sectors. Micah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Finance and a certificate in Mediation from California State University, Long Beach. During his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding and hiking.

Christian Sampson is an Analyst at Harvey & Company, and specializes in originating and evaluating deal flows and investment opportunities in the Food & Beverage, Health & Wellness, Personal Care, and Dietary Supplements industries. Christian joined Harvey & Company in June 2021 and graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science in International Business in select markets.

Cheyne Sampson joined Harvey and Company in 2023 and supports the firm’s industrial and environmental service and equipment sectors. Cheyne graduated with honors from California Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.

Matt Sanquist joined the firm in December of 2023 and has worked alongside Eric Moya in the Foodservice & Chemical Manufacturing sectors – specifically he has sourced, evaluated, and contacted companies in the industry ranging from commercial bakery private label manufacturers to chemical distributors, as well as aerospace and medical device coating manufacturers. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Investments with a Minor in Finance from the University of Southern California. He enjoys fitness, sports, sailing, traveling, exotic cars, and racing in motocross.

Jordan Scheftz specializes in the industrial and environmental services and equipment sectors at Harvey & Company. He graduated from the University of Central Florida where he earned a Bachelor in Communications and a minor in Sports Business Management and later played in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Blaz Seric joined Harvey and Company in 2023 and supports the firm's investment and advisory practices in the industrial services market. Blaz graduated from the University Hawaii with a Master of Science in Finance degree and two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance & International Business, while acting as the tennis team captain, earning academic & athletic scholarships. In his free time, Blaz enjoys outdoor activities and sports, while still playing tennis competitively on the UTR Tour. Blaz is fluent in German and Croatian.

Philip Song joined Harvey & Company in 2021 as a Research Analyst specializing in the origination of acquisition opportunities in the Facility Services, Industrials, Business Services and Safety sectors. Philip earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics from the University of California, Irvine.

Bhavna Sreekumar joined Harvey & Company in November 2022. As a research analyst, she specializes in finding acquisition opportunities within the technology enabled services sector. Bhavna graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and minors in Digital Humanities and Music Industry.

Ms. Tannberg specializes in growth investments, recapitalizations, and debt financing with private equity funds and corporate clients. Previously, Ms. Tannberg worked at OC Financial as a financial analyst. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

Nolan Thompson specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities in the commercial and residential building & architectural products industry, including energy efficiency, building automation, and outdoor products. Nolan also works in the media and digital marketing industry, helping to expand grow Harvey & Company’s marketing practice. Nolan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Karen Vuong specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities in the Packaging, Transportation Components, and Automotive Aftermarket Services industries. Prior to joining Harvey & Company, she worked in M&A consulting at Palm Tree, and at JPMorgan Chase covering Small Business Lending and Financial Sales. Karen earned her degrees at the University of California at Los Angeles in Applied Mathematics and History. Outside of the office, she enjoys Formula 1 and IndyCar, playing piano, and working on her golf game.

Dane Watkins specializes in originating growth investments and recapitalizations with private equity funds and corporate clients across the commercial and residential building & architectural products industries. With expertise in areas such as energy efficiency, building automation, and outdoor products, Dane possesses a deep understanding of the market landscape and emerging trends. Dane graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.

Joe Weber joined Harvey & Company in June of 2022 and specializes in originating and evaluating acquisition opportunities within thein the industrial technology and electronic component markets. Joe received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Oregon. Outside of the office, Joe enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Alexis Anderson joined Harvey & Company in 2023 as a graphic designer where she is responsible for creating custom acquisition presentations and unique branding for clients. A native of Orange County, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at California State University, Chico in 2023. In her free time, Alexis enjoys being near the ocean, running and Pilates.

Kristin Augustine joined Harvey & Company in May 2021 as Senior Graphic Designer. Kristin is responsible for the design of custom acquisition and corporate marketing materials, website content management, social media and more. An East coast native, Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Delaware and enjoys traveling, photography, cooking, and outdoor activities in her spare time.

Stephen Bennett joined Harvey & Company’s Human Resources department in Summer of 2018 as their Senior Recruiter. Stephen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a minor in Religious Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Jennifer Dau joined Harvey & Company in 2024 as a Marketing Coordinator. She is responsible for managing direct marketing campaigns and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from California State University, Fullerton. In her free time, she enjoys reading, camping, and cooking.

JoAnn has been with Harvey & Company for 17 years and is responsible for running and managing the office on a day-to-day basis in addition to organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures.

Annie King is a Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant for David Harvey. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Pepperdine University, with a focus on literature and novel-writing. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, country music concerts, and discovering new books.

Diane Ledgerwood joined Harvey & Company in 2021 as an Accounting Clerk. She is responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and received a Bachelor of Science from Cal-State Long Beach. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting beanies for children in chemo, watching the Dodgers win and rooting on her favorite college basketball and football teams.

Stephanie Munakata joined Harvey & Company in 2022 as the Director of Human Resources. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Criminology, Law, & Society and Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine.  Stephanie has been in Human Resources for over 10 years and she holds SHRM-SCP and PHR certifications.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at dog beach in Huntington Beach, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and two rescue pups.

Jennifer Park joined Harvey & Company in 2020 as Senior Accounting Manager. Prior to Harvey & Company, Jennifer was Assistant Controller at First Financial Equipment Leasing, a commercial equipment leasing company. Her role was crucial for First Financial’s acquisition by J.A. Mitsui, a Japanese Leasing Company. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and her MBA concentrating in Organization Leadership at California State University, Fullerton. In her free time, Jennifer and her husband enjoy working on a model train set, playing video games, world travel, and soaking up the beautiful Southern California weather.

Emily joined Harvey & Company in January of 2024. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, playing games, and staying active.

Vivian Tra joined Harvey & Company in October of 2023. Vivian graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In her free time, Vivian enjoys spending time with her dog, going out with her friends, trying new coffee shops, watching Netflix shows, and reading.
